Be Healthy at Bass Lake

Description: This poster advertises Bass Lake, Indiana as a place to spend your vacation or your weekend. It calls Bass Lake a real health resort. It advertises boating, bathing, bowling, a picturesque 18 hole golf course, parks, dancing, 8 hotels and good roads. Many people came from Indiana and Illinois to vacation at Bass Lake. One of the hotels, the Taggart Hotel boasted of having five mineral springs in 1925. While all of the activities sound inviting, having a good road may have been the most important to those coming by car.
