The Elite Cafe

Description: Photo of men behind and at bar of The Elite Cafe on East Washington Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. This restaurant was owned by Walter Maish who married Nellie Farabee Kevekordes in 1923. She was a granddaughter to Dr. Clark Eli Farabee, a physician in Danville, Indiana and Indianapolis, Indiana. Walter owned two restaurants in Indianapolis: the Elite Cafe and the Tedoc Restaurant. Photo is part of the Nellie Farabee Kevekordes Maish Collection.
