This photograph shows the front side of the original Hirschman cottage at Oakwood Park. The cottage to the left is the Pioneer cottage and was owned by the Hettler family. The Hirschman cottage was built in 1900 for $1415.79. It was built by Mary A. Hirschman with the help of her son, Frank. The original cottage had eight sleeping rooms, a kitchen, a dining room, and a living room. |
