Description: |
This painting shows Main Street facing towards the East. The message on the back is sent to Mrs. Alma Kuhn and Florence at 1123 N. Menard, Chicago, Ill. The message is as follows: This is my little ol town and Im back in it. Jo had a goiter operation so I came home. Sold my trailer in Fla. Jo is good now-alls well at the farm so Im at my own home. Dont have the water turned on yet, but have good neighbors to carry from. I am spending my time trying to keep warm with a coal furnace and investigating automatic furnace for the future. Ive had enough of this already, but must go on til spring or summer. Id say florida is a better place to be in winter. Love [indecipherable] |
