Hardings presidential campaign (1920); U.S. postmaster general (March 1921-March 1922); and president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) (1922-1945). In addition to materials related to Hays personal and professional interests, this folder contains financial statements for Tish, Inc., a letter advocating for the film Little Women to be used in family programs at theaters, a personal memo about the status of the motion picture industry, and a resolution from a Presbyterian Church requesting that Hays eliminate objectionable motion pictures or resign from his position.
