Description: Photographs from Will H. Hays, which feature subjects such as himself, family members, and people involved in political organizations, clubs, and the movie industry. Hays served as chairman of the Republican National Committee (February 1918-June 1921); manager of Warren G. Hardings presidential campaign (1920); U.S. postmaster general (March 1921-March 1922); and president of the Motion Picture Producers and Distributors of America (MPPDA) (1922-1945). This folder contains photographs from Italian ambassador Fulvio Suvichs visit to Hollywood including several taken on the set of the films Ebb Tide and This Way Please. It also includes photographs of Hays at a General Motors party and Hays meeting with various politicians and people in the motion picture industry.
