The big Sykes store fire, 1904. The store was located at Main and High Streets (227-229 South Main) in Elkhart, Indiana. The store was called Sykes & Yourt in the 1889 Manual of Elkhart. It was known as H.B. Sykes & Co., in 1904. It was later known as the Drakes Store. |
