American Coating Mills factory

Description: American Coating Mills (later known as Continental Can Company and then Federal Paper Board Company). Warehouse and View facing Building No. 4, showing entrance to Building Nos. 4 and 5. October 18, 1944. Paper, cardboard, boxes and pallets shown. In a City Directory of the 1930s, the business is described as being a manufacturer of coated cardboard, boxboard and papers for lithographers, printers and boxboard makers. Office and plant were located at end of Division Street. In the 1940s, per a City Directory, office and plant were located at end of Division Street, with an additional folding cartons plant located at 210 Foundry Street in Elkhart.
