Description: |
A letter to Bishop Bouvier thanking him for his letter and lamenting that it has been a year since they had a letter from Mother Mary Lecor. Mother Theodore describes the struggles of the community—the interference of the former chaplain, the problems created by a dismissed member, the fire that destroyed the winter supplies. She then lists the consolations: two establishments and the growth of the congregation. Dated December 6, 1842. |
