India motif ink and watercolor

Description: A drawing of Indian-style motif created by Floyd D. Hopper as a student at John Herron Art Institute, where he attended during 1929-1933. A 20th-century Hoosier artist, Hopper specialized in watercolor and oil paintings and was perhaps most known for his early works in the regionalist style. He lived most of his life in Indianapolis and Noblesville, where he worked as a lithographer and teacher.
