Brandenburg Family

Description:	Brandenburg family. Caption on front: G. B. Brandenburg, his sister & Mother, father Caption on back: Back row G. B. Brandenburg, my grandfather, and his sister Kate / Front row Patterson Clarkk Brandenburg and his second wife hannah Sallie (Thompson) Lefter Brandenburg / P. C. and Hannah are my great grandparents / Patterson Clarkk Brandenburgs first wife was malinda Matthews and she died near Whitestown, Indiana, January 31, 1859. P.C. and Malinda had 8 children. One of them, a girl, died young. This left 6 boys and 1 girl. / P. C. and Hannah had 3 children, G. B., Kate and Philo. Philo died young in Douglas County, Illinois. / P. C. is buried at Anthony, Kansas, Harper County. He died October 4, 1892. / Just recently found these pictures in some of my mothers things that I had packed back in 1985 when she came to live with use. This is a [sic] important picture because there is not too many pictures of Mathias Brandenburg grandsons. / Mathias Brandenburg / John Brandenburg / Patterson Clark Brandenburg / General Beauregard Brandenburg / Robert Lee Brandenburg / Barbara Jean (Brandenburg) Rehorn
