Campbell-Smith-Ritchie Company

Description: Caption: This picture of the Campbell-Smith-ritchie Company, maker of the famed Boone Kitchen cabinets, was made sometime in the late teens and before 1920. It is not an actual photograph but must be the work of a skilled artist. The factory was on W. South Street, on the northwest intersection of South and Ryan Sts. The Big Four R. R. depot is in the right foreground. The station was torn down years ago. (See Page 3 of first set of books of Starks picture collection for photo of Coombs & Campbell Planing Mill and Lumberyard on North Lebnaon St., a forerunner of Campbell-Smith-Ritchie.)
