Hopkins letter stirs furore in the capital

Description: Reprint of an article about a scandal about a letter supposedly sent from Wendell Willkie to Harry L. Hopkins, someone close to President Roosevelt, which apparently signaled a bi-partisan alliance between Willkie and Roosevelt. Willkie claimed the letter to be a forgery.
