531. Inside the dance hall

Description: Original picture taken sometime in the late 1920s or early 1930s for a Rose Island promotional pamphlet. Pictured is a larger number of men and women dancing. It has been suggest that they are dancing either a foxtrot or the two-step. The building has exposed beams and seats run along at least the left hand side of the dance hall for those needing a break.
