220. Jeffersonville City High School, circa 1890

Description: A two-story classic city high school of the late Victorian era. It offered some Palladian features in the roof line and small portico front entrance. The class rooms were well-ventilated with large windows that let in natural light. The photograph was originally taken in the 1890s and reproduced in a local newspaper in the 1970s.
