Taken from the guard tower of the Indiana Reformatory, the image shows the American Car and Foundry Company work sheds from the northwest side looking southeast. The curve of the rail lines for shipping completed cars is on the front left side of the image. Beyond the rails is the chimney and smoke of the foundry buildings and beyond that the town of Jeffersonville. To the center and right of the image are the completion sheds and other work sites of the company. |
