Description: Two images appear on this slide. The larger is of the main fire house situated on the northwest corner of Spring and Court. All of the equipment has been turned out in front of the two story station with a corner bell tower for this photograph. There are five teams of horses hitched to wagons with various pumps and hoses. Ten men are sitting on the wagons. In the far left hand corner of the image, two men are standing, partially hidden by a tree. The smaller image, in set in the upper right hand corner of the slide, is of Fire Station No. 2, located at 526 E. Chestnut St. This building is much smaller than Station 1, being only three windows wide and only one set of bay doors. One two horse hitch wagon is out in front with at least three men on the wagon.
