132. Flatboat

The image shows a flatboat. There are several steamboats in the background. On the flatboat is a load of kegs. , The central cabin has a slightly curved roof on which rests a rowboat. One steersman stands on the cabin roof, the other on a box in the middle of the storage area. Two other men stand near the cabin. The print has an error in that the shoulders and heads of the two steersmen are off center of their bodies, as is the smoke from one of the steamboats. |
