Description: |
This photograph shows the remains of a stone pathway on Rose Island. At the end of a path there appears to be a stone structure, possibly a chimney for an outdoor grill or a support for one of the many picnic shelters that once dotted the island. The 1937 flood possibly did the initial damage and shifted the stones and brought debris to the spot. More recent debris can be found from fallen trees. |
