The newspaper was started by Louis D. Hild in August 1878 as a pro-Republican, German-language, four-page weekly. By 1888, the newspaper had become pro-labor. On March 7, 1907, the publishers combined this paper with the Täglicher Telegraph to create the Indianapolis Telegraph und Tribüne. Daily (except Sun.) |
