Huntington, Indiana in 1870

Description: Colorized postcard showing the intersection of N. Jefferson and E. Market St. The Moore/Carlew Building at 4 W. Market and 400 N. Jefferson St is most prominent. The Moore/Carlew building was the first brick building in Huntington and is on the national register of historic places. Also of note is the trench forming the remains of the canal running along Jefferson St.
