Baby Reunion at Huntington County Hospital

Description: A baby reunion was held June 8, 1937 at Huntington County Hospital located at 1215 Etna Avenue in Huntington, Indiana. An article about the event in the newspaper reads: Fifty-nine mothers and their children who were born at the Huntington County Hospital attended the sixth annual baby reunion held at the nurses home Tuesday afternoon. Appearing on the program during the afternoon were Mrs. Walter Ball, who in a talk paid tribute to mothers; Mrs. Robert Stevens who gave a clever presentation of Experiences of a Father and Mrs. Carl Goebel who presented A Day in June. Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the program, and those present formed in a group to have their picture taken. According to Mrs. Minnie M. Prottinger, attendance at the event Tuesday was the largest in the six years the reunions have been held.
