An 1893 photo of the Schell saw mill at Harlansburg, seven miles southwest of Huntington, Indiana. The engineer was Al Schell; off-bearer, Edgar Schell; head sawyer, David Schell- unvle, father, and grandfather of S.W. Schell. Harlansburg consisted of a few houses, a country store, post office, blacksmith shop, feed mill and telephone exchange. |
