V for victory

Description: Eight servicemen throw up a V for victory symbol, which is also formed using their cups, while relaxing in the garden adjoining PX 15 at the end of the day at Camp Atterbury, Indiana during World War II (No. 136 G). These members of the 1560th Service Unit are (left to right) Private, first class (Pfc.) Joseph Yuretich (MP section), Sergeant Anthony Raffa, Pfc. Rayburn Kennedy, Pfc. Steve Vareb, Pfc. Paul Tamburro, Corporal Frank Zachklewicz, Pfc. Humbert Tamburro, and Corporal Wick Hathaway (everyone else, Headquarter Section) (from Camp Crier newspaper, July 23, 1943, p. 1).
