Indianapolis Life Insurance Company building

Description: This building, also known as the Fairbanks Mansion, is located at 2960 North Meridian Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. Built in 1912 on designs by architect Howard Van Doren Shaw, the Fairbanks Mansion was home to former Vice President Charles Warren Fairbanks until 1923. Around 1924, the Indianapolis Life Insurance Company acquired the building and remained until at least 2000. In 2008, the Indianapolis Life Insurance Company was merged into Aviva Life and Annuity Company.
