Harold Cochran

Description: Photograph of a man waving from The door of a small building, which is identified as The office of The Robert McKim and Co. Coal Company. The man is misidentified as Chick Cochran. With further research, it can bereasonably deducedthat The man is Harold Cochran (1901-1995), who was The bookkeeper at a coal company (stated on The 1930, 1940, and 1950 United States Federal Censuses). The date on The envelope is also incorrect. The date is likely February 8, 1938, as there was a catatrophic flood in The Winter of 1937 that raised The Ohio River by 80 feet in some areas.
