Description:	Photograph of the Clarksville, Ind., riverfront, possibly taken from the water tower of the American Car and Foundry Co., showing the Ohio River and Pennsylvania Railroad Bridge connecting Indiana and Kentucky. The view is looking downriver towards the west. The buildings at the bottom of the photo are part of the American Car and Foundry Co. Also visible along the river above the long building is the Octagon House, built in 1852 by Sidney S. Lyon, and razed in 1940 during construction of flood levees following the 1937 Ohio River flood.
