Ohio River flood of 1913, Clarksville, Indiana

Description:	Photograph of the intersection of Beckett St. and Clark Blvd., Clarksville, Ind., during the 1913 Ohio River flood. Visible are three unidentified men in a boat, a man standing in the water alongside the boat, and several people watching on drier land. The white building directly behind the boat became Kratzs grocery store in 1936 and then Kratzs sporting goods store in 1955. Behind the left side of the store can be seen the bell tower and part of the two-story Ohio Falls School. The school burned in 1925, replaced by a new building on the same site, and renamed Colgate School.
