Description:	This is a series of maps of the different routes of the proposed Erie and Wabash Canal. There series consist of the following: No. 1 -- Map embracing a part of the different routes for the proposed Erie and Wabash Canal exhibiting the valley of the Wabash from the Missisinewa [ie Mississinewa] to Eel River; No. 2 -- Map of part of the routes for a canal to connect Lake Erie with the Wabash River, commencing at bench mark No. 1 on the St. Marys River and terminating at the Ohio state line; No. 3 -- Map embracing a part of the different routes of the proposed Erie and Wabash Canal exhibiting the valey [ie valley] of the Wabash from the mouth of Eel River to Tippecanoe; No. 4 -- Map of part of the proposed route of a canal to connect Lake Erie and the Wabash River; No. 5 -- Map of the different routes to connect Lake Erie with the Wabash River by a canal exhibiting the valley of the Wabash from the forks to the Mississinewa River.
