A bound volume of poetry by Archibald McClelland Hall from the late 1800s and early 1900s, bound together in 1901. The collection is broken up into five different books of poetry. These include Patriotic Poems, Poems Devotional, In Umbra, Bachelor Love Ballads, and Poems Miscellaneous. A reverend in Pennsylvania and Indiana, Hall compiled this book of poetry shortly before his marriage in 1902. The poetry ranges from thoughts on the United States, love and loss, war, life, religion, and responses to poems of other poets.
