April 24, 1815 letter to Thomas Posey requesting pardon for a fine levied against Walter Armstrong due to a contempt of court ruling. Letter is in the handwriting of James Dill but signed by William Major. In a post script by James Dill supporting the request, he mentions that John Livingston is also supports the removal of the fine. |
