Korean War Letter from William Ralph Kraemer to Jesse G. Dorsey 31 Jul 1951

Description:	Ralph has been receiving the Speed-O-Meter and letters from Jesse. He has been moving around and joined the Sixty-Second Engineer Construction Battalion and was in Yongdungpo, Korea. They rebuilt a bridge over the Han River. They were in Chunchon building a bridge. He was then transferred to a refrigeration team in Pusan. He gets to live in an old school building instead of a tent. This letter is part of the Jesse G. Dorsey Korean War Correspondence collection. Dorsey was the Director of Recreation and Welfare and editor of the Speed-O-Meter newsletter for the Louisville Cement Company. Dorsey began sending monthly letters and the Speed-O-Meter to local service personnel during WWII. He continued this through the Korean War and for sometime afterwards.
