Description: 4 aerial photograph of the Charlestown, Indiana town square area. Probably taken in 1965.1: Looking north. Shows the buildings a long Main Cross Street between Main and Water Streets. The water tower and the parking lot on the town square can be seen.2: Looking northeast to the corner of Main and Main Cross Streets. 3: Looking southwest towards what became Greenway Park. Pleasant Run Creek can be seen. Main Street in on the left.4: Looking south from the town square across Market Street towards the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant. Power House 1 at the plant with its smoke stacks can be seen. The buildings along Market Street are no longer there.These pictures belong to Susan Walker and were most likely taken by her father.
