Description: Knights of Pythias, No. 498, met in Bethlehem, Clark County, Indiana at the Red Men Hall. This cash book covers the years 1902 to 1928. Most of the book is a listing of names with dollar amounts. For most of the beginning of the book, there is no indication between money coming in or going out. In the later part of the book, dollar amounts are marked as dues, fees, interest, capital tax, hall rental, sick benefit and even a wife's funeral expense. The book is in poor condition in that there is mold growing on it and the strings of the binding are coming apart. It is stored at Charlestown Library, Charlestown, Indiana.
