Facility One News is a newsletter of Facility One at Indiana Army Ammunition Plant (INAAP) which was in Charlestown, Indiana. Facility One News began in the spring of 1995 when the name of INAAP was changed to Facility One. The newsletter provided articles about the redevelopment and use of the land and facilities at the former ammunition plant. ICI Americas Inc. was contracted in 1972 by the United State government to manage the property. INAAP was built in 1941 by the United States government for the production of ammunition which ended in 1992. In October 2016, all the land and facilities were officially sold by the government. |
