Description: |
Located at 117 East Lexington Av., the Bucklen Livery Stable could house up to 100 horses. The building ceased to function as a stable between 1917 & 1920 and housed a number of businesses before becoming a bowling alley by 1938. It continued as a bowling alley until a 1963 fire seriously damaged the building. It was demolished in 1979 by First National Bank to make way for a parking area. |
