Bonneyville Mill

This photograph taken between 1900 and 1910 shows the Bonneyville Mill in Bristol. Edward William Bonney acquired the land in February of 1837. It is speculated that the mill may have been built later that same year. In 1969, funds were raised to purchase the mill which was then deeded to the county parks department to save it from being torn down. It is the oldest operating grist mill in the state of Indiana. |
