Flooding of Saint Joseph River, 1908

Description: Flooding in March of 1908 caused the waters of the St. Joseph River to rise nearly to the level of the Sherman Street bridge. This photograph shows one scene looking east toward a flooded Jefferson Street. The flood waters left no discernable mark as to where the rivers bank once lay.
