Star Match factory

The Star Match factory was introduced to Elkhart in 1909. The building was erected and equipment for manufacturing purchased in that year. The structure was located on the north side of Ren Street between the railroad tracks and Sterling Avenue. Fire swept the building on August 4, 1910, burning it to the ground. |
