Pattern shop and bridge works

Description: Two men stand outside the pattern shop of the local bridge works. The purpose of the pattern shop (also known as a template shop) was to mark rivet and pin holes in newly-forged iron pieces. These pieces would then ship to another shops for final tool finishes and construction.
