Description: A letter to Milroys wife, Mary, enclosing money. He writes that he left Tullahoma for Murfreesboro where he and Van Cleve inspected the railroad. He continued on to Nashville, where it appears he will be staying for a while. He is temporarily taking command for General Rousseau who is leading a raid into Alabama.
