Peter Pan doll

Description: Now immortalized in movies and a musical, the character Peter Pan rejoices in being a child. James Barrie wrote the play Peter Pan, the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up in 1904. He wrote the play as a way to recapture the happy days of his childhood before the death of his brother when James was six. Adults and kids alike enjoy the antics of the heroic Peter Pan. The story became a Walt Disney classic in 1953. The Sun Rubber Company made this doll shortly after the movie’s release.
