Description: |
Throughout Ancient Greece, people were buried with objects that were significant to them. These objects would then pass into the afterlife with the deceased spirit. Burial tombs of children often included toys that they played with during their lives. Such toys include rattles, clay animal-shaped figures, and dolls. This clay horse is a replica of a toy found in one of the tombs. |
