Accordion

Description: Accordions, concertinas, and melodeons are free reed instruments that are part of the aerophone family. Aerophone instruments produce sound by the vibration of air. These instruments have end keyboards and make sound by driving air over their expandable bodies. Musicians use accordions to play different types of music including rock, jazz, blues, and zydeco. This 19th century accordion proudly proclaims it is “ne plus ultra” or the ultimate accordion as advertised on its side.
