What do drivers need to stay safe? Four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A.J. Foyt, Jr. wore this racing suit and helmet in 1980 to help protect him in case of a crash or fire. Foyt learned to race with his father who was an auto mechanic and racing fanatic. After a successful 40 year career as a driver, Foyt now owns and manages a racing team that includes his grandson A.J. Foyt, IV. |
