A fish has hundreds of tiny, hard scales on its body as protection from predators and parasites. This small, metal fish scaler could easily fit in a fisherman’s pocket for cleaning and preparing a fish to eat. By scraping the sharp edge over the fish’s body, the inedible scales can be removed. |
