Description: |
In 1969 when Neil Armstrong first set foot on the moon and said the words, Thats one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind, the world was changed forever. The Space Race, a huge part of American life in the 1960s, had been won! Before national interest faded and the Apollo moon program ended in 1972, twelve men had walked on the surface of the moon. These are the signatures of all twelve of the astronauts, matted together with a picture of the Eagle. |
