During the Victorian era, named for the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901) in England, women and girls made jewelry, memorials and wreaths for home decor. Women also used seeds, feathers and other materials in wreaths. The unknown maker used pumpkin, squash and cucumber seeds as well as peach pits, almonds, peanuts, corn and coffee beans.
