Godzilla

Description: Named Gojira in his native Japan, Godzilla first hit the big screen in 1954. This first Godzilla film was directed by Ishiro Honda and produced by Toho Studios. An enormous success in its own country, Gojira was soon acquired and re-edited by US distributors. Officially re-named Godzilla, King of the Monsters, the film gained worldwide popularity. There have been 28 Godzilla movies created. These films are known as daikaiju eiga literally meaning giant monster movies. Made in Japan in 1983, this Godzilla remote control toy rolls on 3 wheels, attacking anything and everything in its way!
