Description: |
The Psittacosaurus is a small, primitive ceratopsian dinosaur that can be found in what is now China and Mongolia. It is found in rocks of the Early Cretaceous Period and is over 130 million years old. This dinosaur had a sturdy, narrow beak with no teeth. In fact this beak gives this dinosaur its name, Psittacosaur or “parrot lizard.” |
